We firmly believe that our prices are the most competitive around. This is because we import the furniture ourselves, allowing us to offer our customers superb prices without compromising on quality.

 

Although we specialise in solid oak furniture, we also work with a variety of other materials, including solid walnut, solid pine, metal and glass.

 

For oiled-finished products we advise that you apply teak, linseed or Danish oil within the first three months of receiving the product and then every six months thereafter. Fox waxed-finished products we recommend you use Pledge with bees wax, while it is wise to apply Pledge to lacquered products.

 

We aim to be as carbon neutral as possible and all of our woods are sourced only from sustainable forests.

We accept all major credit cards via our online secure server and over the phone. If you wish to pay by cheque – personal or business – please phone us first.

 

Secure telephone payment line Securing our customers personal information is important to us. In order to protect your card information, we use PayGuard, which is a secure payment process that is compliant with the PCI DSS. When you would like to make a purchase over the phone, we simply call you straight back on a level 1 secure payment system to process it. How does PayGuard work? When we are ready to take your payment over the phone, we will use PayGuard to call you from a level 1 secure payment system. We ask you NOT to read your card information out loud, but instead we ask you to type your card details into your telephone keypad (just like you do when typing a phone number you wish to call). We use PayGuard for two reasons: To avoid anybody overhearing your card details; and As no one hears your card details, not even our staff, your payment card details are secure.

Delivery, Returns & After-Sales Service

 

Oak Furniture Superstore offers a premier, two man delivery service as standard on all items of furniture that are not able to be delivered by overnight courier. The delivery cost is £29 anywhere within mainland Britain, except AB, DD, FK, IV, KW, KY, PA and PH postcodes where there will be an additional charge which will be advised prior to order confirmation.

 
 

Most of our smaller items can be sent via a courier and can take up to 48 hours for delivery once despatched. Some of our very large furniture items will be sent via a specialist delivery service and depending upon your location this can take up to 10 working days. You will be advised in advance of the scheduled delivery date. Deliveries to Scotland, Isle of Wight, Ireland and remote areas of Cornwall and Wales can take longer than specified on the site. Please allow up to 3 weeks. For marble, ceramic and larger glass tables please allow up to 4 weeks.

Your personal details will remain strictly confidential and not passed on to third parties. You have the option to be kept informed of new lines and special offers when placing an order. Privacy Policy: Data collected by this site is used to: a. Take and fulfil customer orders b. Administer and enhance the site and service c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes

Returns

 

We want you to be happy with your purchase, however if you change your mind and wish to make a return or an exchange you must notify us within 14 days in writing by letter or email, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulation. By Law, we are required to provide you with products which are as described on our website, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If you have received a faulty item, please contact us using the “contact us” form on our contact us page to discuss a suitable resolution. We will ask you to provide us information so that we can investigate and resolve the issue. Any refunds made in relation to a faulty product will be subject to us collecting the product/s from you which we will do at our own cost. We are unable to accept returns on assembled furniture. We are unable to accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit back to us. We will require photos of all returned, damaged or exchanged items to verify the condition.
